David and Kirsten bought their farm in 2016. It was quite a culture shock moving from the studio apartment they shared, but they jumped in with both feet and a lot of ignorance. Being first time farmers, nothing was off limits, including an unconventional way to sell their oranges, and so Novelty was born. Their goal was simple, to sell their oranges directly to those who would appreciate them the most. With quality and freshness as the primary goal, they wanted to capture how good a ripe California orange can taste.
